Laker Update

Funny you should ask Mr. Green (about the rumor involving Banks and Walton), because I just talked to our friend Eric the other day. No new rumors, but it looks like the Lakers are encouraged with the play of their young point guards. Apparently Tierre Brown, a camp invitee, has outplayed Chucky Atkins thus far. They also have rookie Sasha Vujacic who shows promise. The only thing that might make them consider Marcus is the fact that none of their 3 current points can play a lick of D. Marcus has that in spades. Luke has apparently worked hard on his jumper but was slowed by a sprained ankle.

If I had to guess, I'd say it is not going to happen. On the other hand, if I had to guess, I'd say that Marcus won't last the season with this team. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not, but its just a feeling I get.
