I’m glad Wally’s getting some needed rest. It was kind of painful watching him hobbling on the court trying to take people one on one.

Telfair, Allen, Green, Perk, Al. If Doc doesn’t let this team run….

Oh yeah, I heard on WEEI that Perk and Al will start together tonight.

The question is, Are we starting anyone older than 25?….how many of our starters went to collage?

…lets just get it over with, lets fast-forward to draft night…this is killing me….please

All our high schoolers are in the starting lineup. ;D

Crazy. All-preps. Gomes is our grizzled vet. And Veal.

The Celtics are currently ahead. Their fg% has improved, defense has improved, and running game has picked up. I attribute this to Wally sitting out. How about you?

by TomHamilton30 on Jan 10, 2007 8:17 PM EST reply actions

Yeah, and how about those offensive rebounds, what do you attribute that to?

Why don’t we buy out Wally like the Sixers just did with Webber?

oh god… tony allen’s knee. Say what you will, he just plays hard and I can’t fault him for that. 19 pts, 5 steals and it’s not even the 4th quarter… and it looks like he’ll be out awhile :( :( :’(

tied at half time ,pacers coach makes adjustments at the break , doc counters with um ah um down 18pts now …ouch

by perk on Jan 10, 2007 9:40 PM EST reply actions

It seems like unless we are playing against one of the other 5 worst teams in the NBA, the rest of the league just B***slaps us around on a regular basis. Time for a change, please get a new coach.

by bceltfan on Jan 10, 2007 9:41 PM EST reply actions

Well, with Tony out potentially the entire season we should see even more of Gerald Green, and we’ll lose even more (if possible), thus resulting in an even better draft pick (assuming the ball bounce our way).

By the way, this question has been asked before, but once again why does Scalabrine play over Leon Powe? I like how Scally has been better than last year, but the Celtics need someone like Powe in there – he creates opportunities and points where there aren’t any.

I agree Perk. This game is a perfect example of the coaching problems this team has. Make no mistake, the Pacers S-U-C-K. But Rick Carlisle is a very good coach, so they can hang in most games. The Celts are just slightly below average (yes I think they are better than the Pacers in terms of talent) but Doc pushes them into the depths.

by Dino, Alla and Stojko on Jan 10, 2007 9:48 PM EST reply actions

Bwhahahahaha. Sure, way better than the Pacers, just fire Doc, and snap – we’ll stop throwing it in the stands…

by kozlodoev on Jan 10, 2007 9:55 PM EST reply actions

Oh, and I am sure it’s Doc’s fault that we missed a dozen of layups today.

by kozlodoev on Jan 10, 2007 9:55 PM EST reply actions

People need to stop blaming Doc for every loss. We do not have the quality big men or pg to contend with a lot of teams in this league. Obviously Doc has them playing their hearts out but just don’t have enough talent. Our season is over with this injury.

The Celtics have a lot more talent than the Pacers. I stand by that, and don’t think it’s really going out on a limb to say that either. Obviously, I’m including Pierce – so maybe doesn’t apply to tonight’s game so much. But J.Oneal is overrated and who else do they have??? Granger? Stephen Jackson? Harrington? I’ll take PP and the kids any day.
