It will be awhile, now won’t it…Of course, we just might beat the Lakere cause we shouldn’t…but seriously, if you look at February’s schedule, it looks like heavy lottery time…I’ve been watching disinterestedly, as much like a judge is suppose to be, at this debacle…It’s difficult, but what the hell, we’re not that far off…It’s almost a pity that Pierce will be coming back sometime in the next 10 games…and that Wally will get his legs under him…and we will find a way to win ourselves out of the top five draft picks…
As far a Gasol is concerned, I don’t see anything there, unless Jefferson was added to the mix, and that should never be the case…Even G$ would hurt big time, so I guess I don’t see our team being able to compete with Chicago for Gasol…He’ll go to Chicago, if they choose, and if they don’t…he’d best come cheaply in my opinion…
other than that, when I look at the schedule, I see many losses in the next 15 games, and perhaps a legitimate shot at a top 3 draft pick…I’m not sure that that is what is best…I’m not sure of much lately, but since I’m newly “disinterested” I’ll just observe and continue the Prozac…

just for the record those are 18 donuts, but i’m sure you could probably just save that graphic for 6 games later.

I have a question: Rivers says that the players are too comfortable with losing, but when will Rivers actually get mad enough to be assessed a technical foul when his team is being shafted by the officials?
How can Rivers even talk about the players when he shows about as much spunk as a wet Kleenex?
but i still enjoy watching these games. I’d like to see them win, but i’m never going to to stop watching. loyalty aside, watching these players beginning to develope in to a team has been extremely gratifying and entertaining. say what you want about doc rivers but and i know you all will and constantly do, but hes the right coach for this current team; there isn’t anyone better who would come here or that we could acquire. and how about lean al jefferson? nice

that picture is making me hungry…
Oh well we are getting Oden – but I think the owners should fire Danny first. I don’t think incompetence should be rewarded.

I honestly think with Pierce, Al, and a top 3 pick next year we’ll really be in business. Maybe I’m completely nuts, but could a front line like that NOT do damage? A guy like Oden or Durant wouldn’t have to be a savior, just the final piece up front which is all I think we’re missing. Now with TA back and West plus Rondo, I don’t know, I think we could have something.
Pp isn’t coming back, let’s get real. If he does, it will be 20 pounds overweight in March when we’re locked into the No.1 pick. We’re going for Oden and Durant. Let’s just face it..

I don’t think I’ve ever watched a game with that many offensive fouls. WTF.

West, Green, Jeff and Rondo are all getting fantastic experience right now. Wally is absolutely awful right now, but he will be back to shooting the lights out at some point. If we can ride this fantastic losing streak to a top pick, NEXT YEAR really should be a good year. Gomes and Perk will be strong off the bench, Paul will be healthy, and finally flanked by solid talent.
West/Rondo, Pierce/Green, Gomes/Wally, Jeff, Top Pick/Perk
Then we finally have a rotation. Powe, Telfair, Ray, Theo, Scal etc will be bench riders. I worry that we trade Theo’s contract for another big bad long term nightmare. Can we just let it expire and take the cap room?
I’m so glad Wally is taking 13 shots a game and making his customary 3 of them. Why? B/c it helps put them in the hole even more. I just hope at the end of the season DA is wise enough to part ways with Wally, Telfair, and Doc. If they keep Doc on as coach I don’t think I’ll buy the nba league pass, even if they get the #1 draft pick.
This is sounding so much like summer time talk with all the hype about next season. This is January, and we’re playing the draft game. Its so sad watching these guys play well and not be able to close out, or play well for the 1stQ and then get completely indifferent. I jsut spent 2 weeeks in Mexico and didn’t miss a single victory.
The lottery hope has me thinking about the Duncan draft. We can talk about how deep it is, and Oden and Durant may be sure fire stars, but Noah, Brandon Wright, and the rest are strictly potential. As deep as the draft is, individually any of them could be a bust. Lets not put all our eggs in that basket.
The talk about Pau Gasol that I’m hearing is interesting, but I wouldn’t trade Jefferson and a LOT MORE for him. Certainly not West,Green or Rondo, and not the 1st unless its the just the option to switch with Memphis.
As long as I’m ramblin, whats up with Telfair?? Is he too slow to get into the paint, or has he just lost all his confidence. I envisioned a penetrate and dish type player who could get anywhere on the court with his quickness, but he can’t. His defense is awful, but has he been lifting weights too much to be quick? Or was he always just hype?
While on the subject or guards, Doc needs to have a little sit-down with Rajon, Al-Ray, and Del to explain the acrcane intricacies of the NBA
Charging Foul so maybe, perhaps, they could….quit racking them up. Ah, youth.

Words to descibe the current state of affairs elude me.
However, what this situation exposes quite clearly, is just how good Paul Pierce really is.
He, single handedly, is the difference between being the worst team in the league and making the playoffs, albeit a one and done performance.
That is a 21 team, 315 player difference that Paul makes to this team.
When I let that sink in for a moment, I begin to fully appreciate just how talented this young man is and how blessed the Celtics are to have picked him up at number 10.
I cannot believe that people on this blog have actually questioned his heart, his attitude, his desire to win any aspect of his game. His game is currently speaking louder than it ever has.
Paul you are a legend and fully deserve to have number 34 in the rafters.
Take care of that foot, don’t rush it (remember Kevin Mchale) and come back ready to guide this young fragile potential laden train wreck, back to the land of competitiveness.
With you, we are good enough to win. With you, development and a high draft pick, we are heading in the right direction to the promised land.
I will always have your back PP.
And finally, what the jeck, Beat L.A. !!!! Beat L.A. !!!! Beat L.A. !!!!Just do it.
Cheers
