Red’s Army has a believable tidbit on Batista. I wonder if they’d played him more in the C’s games in Europe if he’d still have asked out.

I went to the game last night. I was disappointed to see neither Pierce nor Garnett in a uniform.

The Celtics looked lackluster. Rondo played well, and so did Tony Allen and Powe. Andre I. shut down Ray Allen when he wanted to. At some points Allen couldnt even pass the ball – that’s how good Andre’s defense can be.

Jason Smith looks like a player. I think they got a steal in him. Their point guard Williams looked good, too.

All in all, better pray none of the big three get hurt this season, especially Pierce and Garnett. The Celtics looked like a loser team out there without them (and I sincerely dont think Perk would have made a difference last night).

That makes a lot more sense about Batista now.

I don’t know why KG & Pierce are even taking games off…not with this team…we want them to play, play, play!!

You know it’s a slow news day when two of the articles are about Sean Williams being late to a shootaround and 6 NBA refs getting disciplined for putting a C-Note on black.

This is the one of the most anticipated sports days of my young life…nope not because the patriots are going to be involved in the biggest blowout in sports history…or not because Dice K is finally going to earn his paycheck…but because Mike Gorman is on Celtics Stuff live…gives me goose bumps just thinking about it…he’s the purest.
