For everyone who figured Batista was cut because he ‘stunk’ or ’wasn’t good enough’, I recommend reading the posting above from LOY’s Place. Playing time with the Celtics may or may not have been as limited as Batista wanted. But what really happened is that ‘opportunities’ opened up elsewhere (translation: it was about the money).
