Boston Celtics @ Indiana Pacers: 11/13/07 - Open Game Thread

Wow this one caught me off guard with the 7:00 start. I just got out of practice but I'm fired up for the show down in Indy. However, with tip off approaching I'll keep this brief. For starters make sure to check out Indy Cornrows. Cornrows started at SB Nation not too long before I did. Still I admired his blog and wanted mine to be more like it. Now back to the Celtics. They welcome back James Posey and Brian Scalabrine tonight and look to remain undefeated on the season. Random prediction: Rajon Rondo has a big night.

I'll make up for the weak preview with some nice work on the other end.

It's early

But the Celtics are cold. And Rajon Rondo got off to a tough start. Thankfully he's hit a few shots so that my prediction does not look atrocious. However, he will be out...now.

Gerald Green...

should watch video of how Eddie House runs to open spots on the floor. It helps that the Celtics will find him. But House anticipates so well and really makes things easier on everyone. It's fun to watch.

The plot thickens

Tinsley just slapped Pierce in the head. Pierce was furious and knocked down both free throws but not without doing a few push ups in between attempts.

Just an ugly, foul filled game of basketball. But the C's pulled it out. Keep on rolling.

yeah

this game was brutal. But i really like how they confused the pacers defense, destroying them with pierce in the first half, and then allen in the 2nd half.

Growing trend

The Celtics have been playing roughly even with teams for a quarter or two. They then blow it open in the 2nd or 3rd and hold on in the 4th. The final score usually makes the game look closer than it was.
