If you have been following the Red Sox and Patriots and neglecting your Celtics and are coming here for the first time in a while, I invite you to read my preview of the season geared specifically for people like you. (posted in the Metro newspaper where I do some freelance work)

It’s finally here and I won’t be home. I bought a 3 game package for the Nets and the second game is tonight against the Raptors. My son and I went to the first game in the package which was Chicago on opening night and we were not impressed with either team. All four of us are going tonight but the best part is the third game in the package. That game is Saturday night, 11/10 against the Celtics. Nothing could stop this family from going to that game in all our Celtic glory.

Finally, the games begin!

I don’t know if that ‘undersized’ center, Dwayne Jones wouldn’t be handy to have around when the Celtics need a backup to bang with the likes of Eddy Curry. (sigh)
