Knicks Notes
Some notes on the New York Circus, err... Knickerbockers.
- Knickerblogger: "So far the start of the 2008 season hasn’t been kind to New York. In fact it’s more like the new year has reared back and given the Knicks a swift kick in the groin. The Knicks have lost 8 of their first 10 games, the last two by a combined 58 points. While it’s easy to point to the off the court chemistry problems in the Big Apple, a large part of the problem has been their on the court chemistry."
- Knickerblogger on Nov. 18: "Isiah Thomas should be fired. Now."
- Isiah on KG and the C's (in the Herald): "The thing that I’m probably the most surprised about, and it’s a pleasant surprise, is that now that I see Garnett in a Celtic uniform, I can’t imagine him being any place else. He seems to be a Celtic more so than a Timberwolf or anything else that he was in this league."
- This is the first of 3 games in the next 4 days for the Celtics.
- The Knicks had a big win against the Jazz on Tuesday. Marbury had 28 and Zach had 25 and 14.

As long as Doc doesn’t make KG play at C, we’ll be fine.

Isiah said:
“I don’t think there’s another place that he could’ve went to that once he put on the Celtic green, he just looks like he fits and he really belongs.

Yeah, imagine if he’d gone to the Lakers and tried to put on Celtic green?
Wow, that’d really be something.
What the heck is he talking about?

He will make KG play at C, guaranteed. In preseason, I was going crazy because big baby didn’t see the floor against the Knicks. Randolph and Curry are the perfect type of players for him to match up against. Also, Marbury abused Rondo in that game, let’s hope he doesn’t keep showing him a clear path to the hoop. Finally, Doc treated that game as a regular season game and we lost. I think we need to take them seriously,
The top article that says they’ve lost 8 of 10 games is out-of-date. They have won the last 2 for a total of 4 wins on the season.

I expect to see extended minutes for Big Baby tonight, given his performance against the Cavs, and the physical makeup of the Knicks’ frontcourt.
I think the Celtics will be sky high for tonight’s game. I expect a blowout. Knicks usually don’t fare well at the BN Gahden.

That’s one of the nicest things I’ve ever heard Thomas say. He must be mellowing with all the controversy and lawsuits he’s been facing.
