The Kobe article is the funniest I have read.

Pierce and Allen for Kobe.

Good stuff out there.

The comparison between KC and Doc does fill up a page. When I first saw the link I thought it would be about both being wonderful human beings. It turned out to be a nitpicking article.I guess we just like the sport of nitpicking while not really seeing the full picture or knowing what goes on behind the scenes.

Ugh to that trade Pierce Allen for Kobe article. How a writer can put down 2 pages on the subject and still take themselves seriously at the end I’ll never know

The only thing Rivers has in common with KC Jones is that they both had the title as Boston Celtics’ coach.

Sure glad to check in and make sure that I heard the latest and greatest ’’new’’ thoughts from Plowboy… Fire Doc today, hmmm. Where do you come up with these new ideas each day?!

Jeff you are aware that SSNN is a parody site, an “onion” type site?

NYDan,

It’s a UConn student, probably still drunk from the night before while writing this tripe.

Kobe is the most over-rated player in NBA history. This crap is sort of what proves that. He is no more valuable than Pierce, which isn’t an insult to Paul and anyone with half a brain that watches games should know that.

Jeff, why would link to that article – simply because it’s about the Celtics?

I’m surprised there’s not more reactions here to the story linked to in Basketbawful. Paul Pierce looks rather bad here, and headed for trouble.

Here’s the link, which is the same as above:

PLAYA, yet another original thought…Like digging deep into your bizarre thought process to rationalize tanking. I don’t patronize a coach who took us down the ladder of success like you do. I don’t dig deep into fantasyland and come up with a silver lining to a 22 win season because there is none. I see no point in doing so.

Rivers compares more closely to the guy who ironically got hired at Nebraska at the same time Doc got hired here. Bill Callahan’s players quit on him just like Rivers’ players in Orlando quit on him. But to compare Rivers to KC Jones in any way is an insult to anyone with an IQ over 50.
