I don’t know if anyone is interested, but I have a few good quotes I got from Carmelo Anthony and Marcus Camby in my ConnPost blog article here:
http://forum.connpost.com/celticscentral/
What a game.
regards,

I love it when Jackie MacMullen writes about the C’s. ;D

I’m getting a little drunk on all this C’s love. Here’s hoping the players aren’t getting caught up in the hype. Still, hanging that kind of beating on a lineup featuring Camby, Martin, AI & Anthony is pretty good…

Well, everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon. The one thing that has suprised me is the quality of their defense. It’s much better than I thought it would be, and certainly far better than last year. So long as they keep defending like this, they will keep winning.
But in fairness they have not played a really good team yet. Except for Toronto, they play a bunch of cream puffs until Christmas. After that it gets harder.
I want to see them beat top echelon teams (e.g. Dallas, San Antonio) on the road before I get too excited.

Brick- You could see them run the tables and you’d still find something to whine about… One of these days maybe even YOU will jump on that bandwagon. (Possibly after having fallen off the Toronto one and being run over by one of their wheels)

Well, EJPLAYA, if they go 20-0 I’ll consider jumping on the bandwagon, but only if Rivers goes on extended bereavement leave through next June.

PLAYA reminds me of my airdale terrier. We could go 0-82 and PLAYA would be wagging his tail.
PLAYA was on the bandwagon during the 18 game losing streak extolling the virtues of Rivers….And his rapport with and uncanny ability to develop youth. I guess that’s called unconditional love. Just like my puppy.
This is much more fun to watch. Ball movement…Defense. All good so far. Garnett seems like the epitomy of a teammate. We just shouldn’t get too carried away.

Brick – What a class-less statement! The guy just loses his dad and you throw out a ‘’bereavement leave’’ comment. You truly must be one lonely, miserable SOB. No wonder everything out of your mouth is negative. Guess what?! When you try to get on the bandwagon there are going to be a lot of C’s fans that stayed there pushing you right back off. Just go away.
Plowboy – You seem to forget the constructively critical posts that I have made all along. I was not happy during that stretch, only trying to point out to some of these more objective posters that the entire blame was not in Doc’s hands. Sure he made some mistakes, but there were very positive things he brought to the table as well. Leave it to a one sided point of view person to take things out of context and only bring up the side of things they want to focus on. If you’re biggest criticism is that I am a fan, then I’m happy. I’d rather be the puppy than the miserable sorry SOB sitting in the corner talking to himself under his breath with a nasty look on his face because no one else wants to be around them.
