Great comment by Mike Gorman on KG (Comcast SportsNet Gorman Points: KG). Reminds me of a Bird story. There was a game, maybe against Utah or Denver) and Bird was 1 steal away from a
quadruple double. They game was basically over (we won) when KC
Jones sat Bird down. KC didn’t realize that Bird was that close to a quadruple double. Someone mentioned it to KC and KC asked Bird if he wanted to go back in the game. Bird’s reply: (something like) " haven’t I done enough for you already". Winners only care about 2 stats. Winning and Championships and those are all about TEAM.

I can’t believe Quentin Richardson is still talking smack. Did you see what the commenter (a Knicks fan) said at the bottom of the article?

joebruno999, NYDailyNews.com user:
“GOOD FOR QRICH. HE SAID WHAT HE SUPPOSED TO SAY. AND IF THE KNICKS PLAYED THEIR GAME, THEY MIGHT HAVE HAD A SHOT AT BEATING THE CELTICS. AND WHO ON THE CELTICS SCARES YOU BESIDES, GARNETT, ALLEN AND PIERCE? DOC RIVERS? GIVE QRICH CREDIT FOR HAVING BIG ONES. IF ONLY THE REST OF THE TEAM PLAYED AS HARD AS QRICH, WE MIGHT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.”
