Ainge Still Waiting
Ainge seems to be waiting for just the right situation to present itself.
Ainge has said he would only add a player that could make an immediate impact. He also said that there weren't any free agents he was hot on right now.
"I've had conversations with a lot of players and a lot of agents," Ainge said. "There are a lot of players out there that I know can play. There are a lot of players that might even be able to help us. And I'm exploring that all the time . . .
"We have needs. Every team right now has some sort of hole or gap. We have some things that we need to get better at. If we don't feel like we can get better with what we have and we need to bring in help, we won't hesitate."

I’m for standing pat. Someone’s time must go down if we bring in a PG and I think Rondo and E. House are getting it done. Chemistry is excellent, record is 21-3. House can’t handle like Rondo but Rondo can’t shoot like Eddie. Injuries will come. It’s a tough league. See what we need then and fill it appropriately.

It’s delusional to think Eddie House is an adequate backup point guard.
I think House is adequate at backup point. If he has trouble with pressure, which was only really exposed in one game (Pistons), there are other ways to get the ball up court quickly. No team will pressure him consistently because the Celtics are now good enough to turn that into easy lay ups (with a little practice). House’s defense has been better than previously advertised and I don’t think there is anyone out there who can shoot like he can. The ideal situation is for House to play 2 guard with Rondo at point, but with a 21-3 record I don’t see a need for a change now. Also, House will get better in those few pressure situations as the season progresses.
I love Eddie, but a point guard he is not.
We need a Lindsey Hunter type. GP may be the best option, even though he is no LH right now.
Brevin Knight would have been perfect.
