Deadspin loves to dig into controversy wherever it may lay, and sometimes exagerate claims a bit. So when they refer to the exchange I had with Sactown Royalty a "Blog War" you can be asured that it was hardly even a skirmish. You can read the details of the account here. Just be assured, Tom Ziller is one of the bloggers that I respect the most on these here internets and we have cleared the air. Nothing to see here. Sorry to disappiont you Deadspinners.

The whole queens thing struck me as funny too, I had to check twice to see that Jeff had actually written it. You are usually the anti controversy.

Oh come on, everyone made fun of us for sucking last year. Though I suppose the gender comment should offend some women more than it should a Kings fan. They’re pretty bad anyway.

Don’t back away from it.
Again, it’s a daily BLOG…honestly, I don’t see what the big deal is.
If the Sactown blog made fun of the C’s, I wouldn’t expect an apology.
Lighten up, I liked the title.
It wasn’t a swear word, has been said many times before elsewhere, and to me, was fine.

I liked the title Jeff! You were probably agitated like the rest of us Celtic fans after seeing all the hard, unnecessary fouls in that game and just reacted off emotion. Nothing wrong with that.

Nothing’s more frustrating in any line of work where one person (team) is so much more remotely talented that another individual (team) will try to employ cheap shots to get ahead.

So even though we were the laughing stock of the NBA last year and EVERY other teams fans made fun of us, we’re not allowed redemption?? QUIT CRYING QUEENS FANS. Your franchise was the most overhyped bunch of pretenders every year the Fakers won a title. Your sorry franchise choked every time you got close to the Finals. i watched the kings game. there was a kings fan right behind mike and donny who was screaming all night. it appeared that mike enjoyed him. i certainly did. he was not profane or demeaning- just rabid. that’s the way to go.

I watched the kings game too. Being though that I’m a kings fan I find it amusing that calling them the “queens” would refer to that game. The queen moniker, as TZ pointed out on Thursday, was to the fact they were considered soft years ago. Last I checked Ron Artest isn’t soft. And I read through the Boston Herald account which was just plain atrocious and stupid for a professional paper to not even know specific details of something that happened.

Oh I heard the guy behind Mike & Tommy too. The Kings feed also picked it up and the most memorable thing I heard was him scream “You’re not Larry Bird.” Who confused anybody on the court for Larry?
