Messed up the link, try this.
Herald C’s paying the price: (from Daily Links)—worth a read. Talks about Doc and KG from the King’s game where Doc wanted the guys to cool the emotions. I’ve tried to tell about this one on other threads, but this tells it well. I bought it up before in the context of the Skiles firing. It’s about communication between player and coach, two way respect, flexibility, and putting away the ego.
truegreen – thanks again for the link. Win or Lose this season KG has won my respect and admiration already…..that and $3.95 will by you a small coffee at Starbucks.
Take KG’s heart, desire, work ethic, pride and then take some guy like Starbury, or Artest, or any number of just plain punks and you see the wide chasm between greatness and smallness
peace
Master Po, Believe it or not, I’ve never been to a Starbucks. Wow $3.95 for coffee. All I know is you need a pair of tweezers and a magnifying glass to see a Dunkin Donuts doughnut. My last memory is an ice cream cone for $0.10. I really think that video tells alot about who KG is. KG is a Celtic. Always has been (though I didn’t know it) and always will be. His number goes up on the rafters no matter what happens.
