Lakers Come Up Short

I watched the whole game. ;D ;D ;D ;D

We were mean to them at the end and didnt take our good players out. NBALP acted like we were trying to run up the score. One of the comentators said we must be really shorthanded on people to risk playing the big three at the end of a blowout. The network didnt like us winning that big, it made the Lakers and Kobe look less than “Manly” I guess. 8)

It would have been tempting to really strap it on them after Odom’s flagrant foul. Playing with that mess of a roster, though, is punishment enough for the evil that is the Lakers.

Odom should be suspended for that tackle. That was outrageous and we’re lucky the C’s didn’t respond to it stupidly.

Pierce was a monster on this trip. There was one point when they were opening up the lead where he caused like three turnovers in a row.

Tony Allen did a nice job filling in for Rondo. Tony can play.

The shorts thing was nothing but a distraction for the Lakers, but they played better with them on.

Donny Marshall is boring.

I agree that Donny Marshall is boring. He needs to be back in the studio. No excitement whatsoever from him. Bring back Tommy!

Lamar Odom’s cheap shot shows typical Laker class.

The Celtics destroyed the Lakers. The 2nd half wasn’t close and I was disappointed the C’s didn’t blow them out in the 1st (Fisher hit a desperation 3 at the buzzer and KP missed a lot of free throws).

No Rondo, back-to-back, no problem.

I think we should have the zest for life that Tommy has at his age, I believe 75. His age ISN’T the reason he’s not making these long road trips this year. I don’t know this for sure, but I believe there is a personal reason why T isn’t taking these trips and it was announced before the start of the season. I just wish him and his family well.

Doc had the best comments about the short-shorts:

That is a pretty good Lakers team but that is how good we are this year. And it isn’t jsut the D. The offense from KG, Pierce, Ray and Tony was amazing.
I am doing everything I can to not miss any games because this experience does not come around very often.

lakers fans are blaming this on the shorts, arguing that they through the team off.

has anyone pointed out to them they played better with them on? they were abysmal in the 3rd and 4th.

i agree with widblue. cherish every game. we haven’t seen anything like this in a long time. i enjoyed that antoine’s team won but i was never an antoine man. i liked him- just did not like his game. he was like a bigger tony allen- never knew if it was going in or not, but at least tony plays d. pp was on the starting all star team quality all trip and i am sure turned some heads. the lakers are good but they were exposed. perk has to break the habit of pounding the ball before he shoots. it’s getting ugly.

yea what is up with that from perk? every freaking time he dribbles once to power up, and he wonders why he gets stripped constantly.
