Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

Will This Be The Game?

I Heart KG | Game Thread | Chat Room

Somebody has got to lose to us.  The TWolves helped our lottery chances by dropping a game to the Griz.  Will they help the morale of this team by dropping a game to us tonight?

Nice win by BC on the road. It’s a much too infrequent pleasure to watch such a poised, well-coached team.

Maybe this will be the game. With Paul loosened up a bit, and Ricky running his mouth, this might be the added oomph that the C’s have needed. Let’s not get on a roll though, and reel off 3-4 in a row. Every once in a while a win would be nice for morale, but the only roll I want to see in favor of the Celtics is that of the dice. In Seacaucus this spring.

Blount goes for 24 and 12 and the streak lives on.

Can you imagine the reality of that trade hitting KG? He got rid of a solid scorer with questionable d, for TWO selfish scorers who won’t rebound or play D & pout when they don’t get their touches.

The fact that they were caught off guard by the Grizz pretty much guarantees that we won’t get the same benefit

agree with Manup – Blunt and RD will try hard to give us a smack down. Love to see some tempers flare and Blunt get ejected along with RD.

Mark Blount will def. be chewing gum tonight.

I will root like always for the C’s, but there are 2 benefits to losing this one. Minny keeps there hopes alive for the 11th pick (which we need to see their #1 in 2009), and the C’s, of course, continue to keep their hopes alive for #1 or #2.

No, Po. I hope Perk takes Blount out with a hard right-hand cross.

what’s with kia naming their new car the rondo anyway.

if they had introduced it before we bought the Xb i’d have to have given it serious consideration (to bad its a kia, rondo’s game doesn’t say “kia”, maybe “enduro bike” but not kia)

by arctic 3.0 on Feb 11, 2007 6:41 PM EST reply actions

yeah.. not only the new car, but the new concept:
Rondoism – http://www.kia.com/rondo/rondoism/

So far, so good. Jeff is getting schooled by KG, but he’s hanging in and at least stopping the bleeding. Even half-neutralizing KG gives us the win the way the rest of the rotation is eating the TWolves

Everone knows West makes some really nice plays but he also makes alot of bad ones, like the final two seconds he had an open 5 fotter and chose to pass it and the shot clock expired with 2 seconds left. He is out of position but because he can shoot you have to play him. PP played great but he needs to play small forward, Gomes needs to come off the bench and Rondo and West needs to be the starting gurads. Then you will see a competetive team every game. With PP there everyone needs to adjust there spots on the team, again that is coaching but it is Doc’s responsibility to make these adjustments and that is where he fails.. OH WELL

doc rivers is a bad coach he chose to put scal on KG over perk who was playing great and rebounding and would obviously be a better match up on the 7’0 foot KG and then gerald gets what 14 points in under 18 minutes, and doc doesnt give him more time G$ should be coming off picks atleast 10 times plus all the other touches from regualr play

Wow! What can I say but ole well we are still on course to get a top pick in the draft. Delonte deferred too much to Paul and thus had no good rythem at the end-especialy mentally.

Apparently, no, this will NOT be the game.
