I missed this link before, but it is worth pointing out.Â Andy Gray of SI.com promises that this Dunk Contest could be the best on in a decade.Â And he has the youtube links to prove it.

Wild card: Green has hired Paul Pierce as his “Slam Dunk assistant,” which is a curious choice since Pierce isn’t exactly known for his dunking.

Gerald wearing the #2 headband was very moving.

His dunks were definitely the most creative. Don’t trade this kid. Let him continue to grow. The prep, focus, maturity, respect and poise he brought to this contest are all great signs for the future.
