Why do NBA players recieve meal money when they make millions??? My job doesn’t pay for my meals! >:(

Any job that requires travel will give you a meal allowance.
It’s to make up for not being able to eat in your own home.
What kind of jobs do you guys have anyway?

I know all about travel allowances, but I just didn’t think it was necessary for players that make millions, although I do acknowledge that there are some players that don’t make millions (like Powe, Ray, etc.)

Jaycelt…I guess that is true. If I traveled for my company, they would pay me back for food expenses. The thing that gets me is that it is not included in thier million dollar contracts. :)

This reminds me of when Marcus Camby asked for an allowance for clothes when the dress code was initiated. Congrats on making the blogroll, that’s gonna bring some serious traffic around lottery/draft time.
