KG Trade Idea Voting
Remember that whole KG trade derby idea I had a week ago? (Here is the link to my proposal)
Henry from TrueHoop (now with ESPN goodness!) has posted the proposals from each of the bloggers. Go here and vote for the best one.

I had to vote for the Bulls. I don’t think Forbe’s most valuable GM would take back Wally’s contract that he was so happy to get rid of. From the Celtic’s side of it, I would do it in less than half of a heartbeat.

I’m shocked honestly. If these are the types of offers being put forth in real life, no wonder McHale hasn’t traded KG. Both the Warriors’ and Knicks’ offers were pathetic. And as for the Bulls’, are they serious? They did realize that they would have to give up Thomas and Gordon or Deng to get Gasol. Yet they offer even less for Garnett?!? And how is Nocioni at 7-8m per year appealing to anyone? He’s not bad, but he’s not worth that. Maybe the C’s do have a shot, but I’m still loath to give up West. I still feel like he can be the leader of this team. Give McHale Gomes or another 1st rounder. Keep West. We need his spunk.

Imagine the Wolves after the Knicks suggested trade:
Mike James, Nate Robinson, Ricky Davis, Mark Blount and Steve Francis in the same locker room. Its a team only Dr. Phil could love.

Didn’t Skiles say that all they needed to complete their team was Al Jefferson? Why do people keep saying Chicago has the best package? They do talent wise, but what they need is inside scoring (ala BigAl), and Garnett doesn’t give them that. On the other hand, Garnett compliments Jefferson very well. I think he is a better fit with the Celtics.
I thought your offer was the strongest, Jeff, from the T-wolves’ point of view. Is one of our “future picks” this year’s? If so, I’d take the offer if I am McHale; if not … meh. (The Cs are going to be good next year if we add this year’s stud pick and stay healthy—too good for our own future picks to be tempting.)
A technophobe question: Where are the results of the vote to be found, at True Hoops? One of the posters there alluded to your offer being in the lead, but I can’t seem to find the results.
I voted for Jeff but I thought it might be this years pick being unprotected. Next years pick make Chicago’s offer a little more enticing. You have to figure the Knick pick being between 12 -18 this year.
The Lakers offer was in first place but it made no sense to me.
Tyrus Thomas, Andres Nocioni (signed/traded at $7-8m), Chris Duhon, Viktor Khryapa, New York’s 2007 first round pick as well as one of Chicago’s second round picks.
Gerald Green, Delonte West, Wally Sczcerbiak, Theo Ratliff, and two future unprotected first round draft picks.
Lamar Odom, Kwame Brown, Brian Cook, Vladimir Radmanovic, and a 2008 unprotected first round draft pick
