Peter May’s article on Doc was pretty good. I actually enjoyed it, and Peter re-confirms my notion that we need to move away from Doc.
But….. if we give him an extension, then I won’t go on and on about how it sucks (maybe a little). I will just have to figure out a way to deal with it. This scenario will not be easy because I just think his game time coaching skills are so so bad although I like him as a person (from what little I know). He has yet to develop a workable, consistent and bankable offense or defense “scheme” that his team can really execute. I seriously doubt that at either end of the floor, that what he proposes on his dry eraser board, or in practice, is really an executable plan for this team. We never have “flow” and we never pushed the ball up the floor like we should, and ultimately that is coaching not producing (at least 75% of it is). enough said – sorry
True Green while I agree with you that “trading PP talk” is a bit early, as PP continues to be an enigma to me anyway, so we just have to again be patient about his health and future.
Howvever it is really not a great thing for you to make one (and only one) comment about someone else’s work. Someone who took the time to write an article on Cheap Seats and considering you used the word “stupid” to describe what he said and gave him no props whatsoever. Anytime someone takes the time to contribute something in here that is well intentioned and put into an article, it deserves more than the easy “that is stupid” comment. Seems out of character for you bro – bad day? Peace
These Daily Links have been a great timesaver. Thanks to FlCeltsFan for taking the time every day searching out celtics news, so we don’t have to. You are much appreciated.
I found the Minny article very interesting. If they tank again at the end of the season this year to become one of the teams with the ten worst record, thereby depriving the Clips of their first round pick, they should be penalized with loss of draft picks, as they were when they cheated with joe Smith’s FA deal. This ownership.front office team has a history of dishonestly.

The article on the 19 year old rule has a quote that proves to me without a doubt that Oden is coming out:
“Overall, the freshmanâ€â"¢s course load has reportedly been limited to two classes, including the history of rock nâ€â"¢ roll seminar. No wonder the OSU athletic department was able to crow about his 3.7 grade point average.”
Two courses, one a joke seminar. He’s coming out.
Master Po, why is PP an enigma to you. He’s the one guy we know just about everything about. He loves to play, he plays hard, hurt or not, he even dives for lose balls in practice. What other player of his caliper does that today. Some things he’s done in the past are still held against him, but what bad things has he really done in the past other than be a passionate, competitive, aggressive player. I know sometimes he dribbles too much into 4 defenders, but those forays are now usually limited to when nothing else is working. We all know he’s hurt, but against Dallas he drove into the lane over and over again and took a beating even though he and we know the team is headed nowhere this year. To me we are lucky to have him.
