Odds & Ends
Some notes while you catch up on the college games.
- Wally's surgery was a success! (which I guess means he didn't lose a foot or get something stuck inside him)
- Allan Ray is back! (we hardly knew you were gone)
- West is "day-to-day" and Gomes is "questionable" for Friday
- St Paddy's Day Unis will be back
- PSA:Â "Sunday's game against the Chicago Bulls, originally scheduled for 3:30 p.m., has been moved to 6:00 p.m. and will now be broadcasted on Fox Sports New England. The Celtics also remind fans to accomodate for Daylight Savings Time, which begins Sunday."

I wasn’t aware until reading this morning’s Boston papers that Al Jefferson was pulled early in the fourth period because of a very sore instep. As well as he is playing, I sure hope they monitor his sore foot carefully.
At this point, why chance it if there is even the slighest doubt? Doc has been notorious for playing players that had lingering injuries. Al Jefferson is a franchise player that needs to be handled in a sensible way. If the Celtics were in a battle for a playoff berth I could see the logic in playing him , but with our dismal record it makes no sense to risk it .
