Operation Shutdown In Effect
Shocking nobody, the team has shut down Pierce. Souza reports:
Rivers said he met with Pierce and Celtics executive director of basketball operations Danny Ainge shortly before his pregame meeting with the media and it was determined that Pierce was probably done.
“I think we’re going to shut Paul down the rest of the year,†he said.
Rivers said the fact that there will be no more practices before next Wednesday’s finale was a contributing factor along with Pierce’s season-long battles with various injuries.
“If he twisted my arm and really wanted to play, then we’d see,†Rivers allowed.
Pierce declined a media request to talk before the game.

Let me be the first to say that one to go and the men in green have successfully tanked. Pierce, well everybody knew that was going to happen. Jefferson should ensue.
The good the bad and the ugly. Gerald needs to add bulk which will hopefully help him with his ball handling skills a bit.(He really could have used a year or two of college) He is just immature. Rando, well his shooting. The ugly, Perk is a big nonathletic version of B Wallace. However, if we land Durant it won’t matter a lot as long as he eats glass.
Kinda like Allan Ray as a roll guard. Esp if he can get his three point range down. He makes Telfair and after thought.
