Game #79 - Open Game Thread
I just can't get up for this game. We definitely will not see Paul Pierce, Al Jefferson, Michael Redd, Andrew Bogut, and Charlie Villanueva. Furthermore, the Celtics have several other injuries and the sore left knee is the Milwaukee Bucks' kryptonite. So don't expect Delonte West and possibly Mo Williams. However, I do enjoy watching Kendrick Perkins, Rajon Rondo, Gerald Green, Ruben Patterson, and Earl Boykins. And there are a numerous lingering questions? Will the Celtics be able to contain Boykins after he scorched them for 32 last time? Will Tommy Heinsohn and Mike Gorman finally air their true feelings about the mess that is this season? Will Bob Cousy unexpectedly join the crew? Will Donny Marshall be in the arena or the studio? Regardless of his location, how many references to his playing career will Marshall make? Will this game set basketball back 45 years?

The Good Old Days
As a side note is it depressing that I am the only one commenting on my open game thread? I say no because there are a lot of Celtics blogs and I'm still trying to establish myself. Of course I also talked myself into buying a typewriter the other day. So what do I know?
Heinsohn and Cousy...
"You were sexy in those days Frank." - Cousy
FSN is obliging by showing old pictures and highlights.
On the bright side they are giving Tommy hell about smoking during his playing career.
