that Tony Massarotti article is pretty good

Gotta disagree with “Sports Law Professor”. Tanking most assuredly exists. The players don’t tank (well, except for Mark Madsen), but the coaches and front offices certainly do.

Has anyone noticed how big of a hack Bill Simmons has become over the past couple of years?

No, I haven’t. Simmons is fine. He’s a big fan and I enjoy his views on the C’s. Just take it with a grain of salt.

Didn’t understand the point of Simmons’s article on the lotto, does he want only good teams getting top picks? However his article on Rivers is spot on and a must read in my opinion.

Simmons is excellent…I disagree with him a lot, but he is always very honest. Did anyone read that Dayton News article? Yeah Thad Matta, some people would rather have their memories viewed through the rosy veneer of permanent financial solvency. I know I know, of course he wants Oden to stay, but the guilt tripping is a little melodramatic, no?
