Great to read DW’s comments on Powe in the Globe Celtics Blog. I imagine some of his other teammates feel that way and hope management is listening.

What exactly is the Auerbach Award for? Glad to see Al won it anyway.

If Oden thinks by leaving college and going to the NBA he will be seeing the ball more on offense….then he is dead wrong.

Pierce, Al will both have the scoring seniority over Oden.

Also if Oden didn’t like 3 point shooters…he ain’t going to like the slew of 3 point shooters the Celtics currently have.

Oden can still withdraw from the draft right up until June 18. He’ll probably be watching the May 22 lotto drawing as intently as any of us! I hope the Cs can keep their collectibe pie-holes shut about “not needing a big man” (Al Jeff) from now until June 19th.

Oden will NOT be returning to college no matter how the draft situation turns out. I have word directly from someone who talks to Oden a few times a week saying that he hated college and had no intent of ever returning for his 2nd year.
