It isn’t often that I am right about anything, so I will take the opportunity to gloat. Anyone notice who Simmons’ Least Valuable Player was? That would be one Marcus Banks. You know the player who was going to be a star in the league if only Doc hadn’t not played him and messed him up. I think some people owe Doc an apology over that one. No coach was going to make Banks into an NBA player. Coaches can’t give brain transplants.
