6 Non-Celtics Thoughts

Welcome to the Major Leagues Alex Gordon. He went 1-11 in his first 3 game series and I saw him boot a ball today. Apparently off speed pitches are Gordon's enemy.
My old site (Celtics Bandwagon) was in danger of becoming a Gilbert Arenas love fest until 2 things happened:

He wore a boxing robe to the Wizards' home opener and torched the C's.
Al Jefferson emerged as Al Jefferson.

Yet I have appreciated Arenas' antics throughout the season. So it is unfortunate that he will miss the playoffs. The Eastern Conference just got a little weaker, which did not seem possible. And what the hell is Arenas going to do with his time?

The die hard Yankees fan in my fantasy baseball league has Daisuke Matsuzaka on his squad. Bold move. Could drive him crazy.
You will never be able to convince me that Michael Johnson, of gold shoes, Olympic medals, and freakish speed fame, drinks Coors Light. I'm not buying it.
I don't want to jinx it so I should really just remain quiet. But I can't help it. I caught a NESN commercial about the Red Sox and their lack of a language barrier. Wily Mo Pena has some Delonte West potential. There I said it.
NESN brought Tina Cervasio back. Sweet.

Don't envy Wizards fans

The Celtics are bad. I accept this. Injuries have not helped but even with everyone healthy this squad was not going deep in the playoffs. But it's much worse to have a good team and lose Butler and Arenas. I realize Washington is not a great defensive team. But I like how the team was put together.

Celtics '08 or bust. Are you on the bandwagon?
