The one thing I want from the Celtic organization is to never tank again like they did this past season. Rooting partially in your mind for your team to lose so you get a better chance to get a higher lottery pick stinks as a fan. Do the “right thing” and give an honest effort.
To me the only exception to not going all out to win is at the very end of the season if you are a playoff team and your position is solidified. You have banged up starters that need to have their minutes cut in half so they are fresh for the playoffs. I still think though you have an obligation to play the starters some in the first half and do your best with reserves to win the game and keep the “integrity” that the game deserves.

This organization needs a reality check. No longer does the rest of the NBA look at all the banners, the rich tradition, our hall of famers, etc and get awed or intimidated from it. We’re like the great uncle that does nothing but remince about the “old days” at times. That and about $5 will get you a Starbuck’s latte.
We are a “lazy” organization, quick to make excuses for our lack of success, and we have made decisions which are steps backwards. Losing 18 games in a row and getting a coaching extension. Making a “sidewards trade” with Minny. Claiming to be a “running team” last year. The Telfair trade with the #7.
I’m like a 4 year old with legos. Tear it down and start building it over. My foundation piece is Big Al. Everyone else from the towel boy to Wyc needs to be held accountable and is expendable. There is only one word that should be on Celtic’ minds, and that is “rebuild”.

Congratulations to Portland and Seattle. I hope this draft can do for you guys what Duncan has done for the Spurs.
I’m over the draft, time to move on- Rebuild.

My Positive spin:
Per Ainges comments in the Herald:
â€Å"Nobody thought Paul Pierce [stats] was going to be the player heâ€â"¢s turned out to be when he was selected 10 (in 1998), and nobody thought Al Jefferson [stats] was going to be as good as heâ€â"¢s become when we got him at 15 a few (three) years ago.’
Just simple numbers 5, 10 & 15. Maybe 5 will bring us something special.
