While Rondo has been chacterized as a player with such poor shooting mechanics that he will never become an effect PG in the NBA. Misconceptions are difficult to change when erroneous facts are circulated and perpetuated.
In Rondo’s last 25 foul shot attempts he made 22 for a shooting percentage of 88. In the last 20 games of the past season Rondo shot 50 from the floor. Those statistics might even improve this year as Rondo has been concentrating on improving hisshooting proficiency this off season.
Those that maintain a “blind” obsession with Conley tend to justify their infatuation by perpetuating misconceptions about Rondo, as though the Celtic’s were desperate for PG help. Conley has yet to show his effectiveness in the NBA and college statistics and performance are not always repeated at the NBA level.

i gotta tell ya im one of the few that dont want to trade pierce but him gerald 5th pick for kobe and theirs sounds doable to me. My offer would have been Ratlifs Contract Jefferson Green and the 5th pick and take Williams if he is available or Lasme out of UMASS to take care of the boards I like the idea of Rondo Kobe Pierce Lasme/Gomes/Williams/Powe/Scal who ever plays the best in preseason at the pf and perk at center honestly yeah im looking at it through celtics colored glasses but i would put that starting 5 up against anyone for the title next year
