Allan Ray has about as much business being in the NBA as Doc did in getting a contract extension.

I’ve now seen enough of Gabe Pruit to realize that he’s not ready for the NBA. He won’t be signed but will be told to play in D League or overseas. Pruit has too many holes in his game.
For instance, he doesn’t have good handles. Like Delonte in his first year, he’s very vulnerable to double teams and doesn’t know how to break free or to recognize them coming so as to take evasive action.
Pruit also isn’t a penetrator so he has trouble setting the table. His passing ability is poor and he lacks judgement on passing angles etc. He doesn’t seem to recognize when the intended pass recipient is being overplayed and frequently has his passes intercepted or deflected.
Lastly, his shooting isn’t as advertised….at least thus far in SL.
At least finding Brandon Wallace makes up for the mistake drafting Gabe Pruit. Fortunately Glen Davis is a player worth signing.
Allan Ray has put the last nails in his NBA coffin. He is undersized and insufficiently talented to help the Celtics. Time to look elsewhere for a real PG.

Pruit needs to play in order to improve. With the rudimentary skills that Gabe possesses and the team philosophy to win now, he won’t get the PT experience with the Celtics.
I’m convinced that the Celtic’s would like to move Telfair but right now he’s Rondo’s best back-up.

Nice to see that Glenn Davis is a “point forward” with great passing ability and excellent court vision. He seems adept at the short game, a lost art among modern day players.
