Pretty good game. I liked what I saw. Leon Powe was indeed the show. Davis was ok. The kid from SC is ok and belongs in the league— more so than Alan Ray. Gabe Pruitt is no Delonte West, that’s for sure. He doesn’t have the BBIQ. Decent stroke, but the rest of his game is blah.
Very nice game for Gerald Green, who did an excellent job on Martell Webster. Right now, Green is markedly superior to Webster, who was taken 14 places ahead of Gerald in the draft.
Those kids played defense. Now if they can only get the veterans to do the same…
It’s good that Powe, Green & Davis are getting this run. They won’t see these kind of minutes once the season starts. Esp. If Ratliff or another front court is aquired.
Fouls are a problem for just about every big man coming into the League. Look at Perk & Al. They took 2 years to stop commiting cheap fouls. Oden will start getting the calls once the season starts, I predict.
