Paul Pierce FSNE Video Interview
I'm feeling sort of flushed in the face for not getting this posted earlier. Frankly, I thought folks would have been all over this by now, but Jason Levine of Fox Sports Net New England passed along to us a nice little interview they did yesterday with our man Paul Pierce. It is a good watch. Jason said, "...can't imagine why he is in such a good mood." Check it out here!

If there ever was a 24 win team feeling giddy going into the next season, this is it.

Wow, Paul must be really happy, he is granting everyone interviews.

TrueGreen, I don’t care how good an interview he does for the TV/Radio media type spots. I see Pierce very excited about the upcoming season and everyone (players/management) are all saying the right things.
We will all see how the rubber meets the road when the season starts, but for now at least I revel in the enthusiasm of what might be of this upcoming season.

docextension,I’m not sure if you mistook what I wrote or not. What I was trying to say is that people try to find negatives in anything PP does. In this thread people had to really reach. I think PP is a great player, he’s given up his body for the team and we’re lucky to have him. I, too, can’t wait till the season starts and I see only good things happening.
Is it just me or does Pierce look like a fatso?

Yeah, Pierce looks like Rosie O’Donnell…you people have got to be kidding me. He looks like he always does and he is still losing weight, Pierce has chubby cheeks he always had, it doesn’t make hima fatso. Plus, I don’t really see how he gives the worst interviews. At least he will come out of his shell and give you a colorful interview unlike some guys.

TrueGreen,
Couldn’t agree more. The guy has taken so much abuse over the years.
I know people will curse me for saying this, but I’d like to see how many championships Bird would have won with the same supporting cast PP has had. Flipside, how would PP have looked playing SF with a lineup of Chief, McHale, DJ, Ainge and Max coming off the bench.
I’m not comparing PP to Bird—what I’m saying is that PP has not had an easy road in Boston, and yet he has been a pretty loyal and open guy.
