Perk was the guy remaining that I was most concerned about as to how he would take the off-season moves, mainly his reaction to his teammates moving on. I was waiting for an interview from him and was so glad to see his reaction in today’s stories. This is one classy guy and we should be proud that he is a Celtic. Also of note is that PP, among others, was with Perk in Waltham working out with the new defensive coordinator. There have been references to Big Baby the past few days not being at the Parish-Ray camp. He was working in Waltham.
That Armchair GM “Boston Celtics Off Season” article is absolutely TERRIBLE!!!

So crap, for example:
(Holdover Kendrick Perkins, and new additions Scot Pollard, and the infamous Michael Olowokandi will be the options at center.)
- Ummm Kandiman isn’t on our team.
(Eddie House will compete with second year player Rajon Rondo for the starting PG duties.)
- LLLOLOLOLLOLL!!!!!!! Ok buddy whatever.
(From a talent stand point, the Celtics now have a trio that is unmatched in the Eastern Conference, and compares favorably to anything the West has to offer.)
- Too bad it’s a team game and the rest of our roster is AWFUL.
(If everyone stays healthy, the Celtics are a 6-seed in my opinion.)
- HAHAHAHAH whatever you say.
Completely trash article……

Reading the NY Post article on Mike Mathis, former ref, saying that NBA officiating is terrible (regardless of recent scandal) re-affirms my faith in me. It also justifys Tommy’s constant frustration with refs. A former NBA referee is saying the same thing. There are only a handful of real good refs in the league and poor officiating is costing teams games. I’m not just talking about bad calls. I’m talking about inconsistency in making calls, lack of judgment, and unwillingness of refs to admit to making a mistake. Some refs also seem to have their own personal agendas. Mike Mathis states that one of the reasons the ref indicted in the scandal went unnoticed is because bad calls or non calls) are so common. To me David Stern should pay a bit more attention to this.
