I’m going to have to bet that the USA Select Team will give Team USA at least one embarrassing spanking along the way…

looking at the poll results, it looks like the overwhelming response is “no stupid nicknames!”

so that means I’ll have to be more creative in how I refer to them :D

Well, according to hoopshype.com, Sarunus’ agent is hoping he can play with Boston. How about that.

You’ve got to love Gomes.

Can anyone translate the new Hoopshype article/rumor about Sarunas Jasikevicius coming to the Celtics?

by Big Cat on Aug 7, 2007 2:36 PM EDT reply actions

Gomes is awesome, it’s unfortunate the way he found out about the trade, especially at his basketball camp in New England. Since he’s a Twolf now, i’m sure he’ll be “getting his sleep the night before” he plays us, and will be exposed come game night. Al’s lack of Defense will also be exposed when Kevin Garnett manhandles him. Al will put up between 14-17ppg this year no mistake about it, but will allow 20 points to be scored on him, by us.

Anyone have a guess as to what it would take to get Sarunas? I’m guessing a package of Scal (for salary) plus either Pruitt or a 2nd rounder next year.

Wow what an article about Chauncey & Tyronn Lue suggesting KG goes to Boston. Thanks guys!

Dickerson on Sports Tonight said that he talked to a source who said that we have no interest in Hudson but we do indeed have interest in Sarunas.
