Ray Allen said:
‘’I was out running the other day and people are driving by screaming my name,’’ chuckled the guard who signed with the Celts over the summer. ‘’Without knocking Seattle and Wisconsin, people here are die-hard Red Sox [team stats] fans, die-hard Patriots [team stats] fans and die-hard Celtics fans, but they don’t play one off the other. They celebrate them all.’’
I’m still patiently waiting for Mike Wilbon to do that interview with Allen and KG about how horribly the racist Bostonians are treating them.

I liked the end of the Allen interview, in the Herald, where he says that a lot of guys, like Perk and Powe, are going to have the best years of their careers. It makes sense, given the rest of what he says. If Pollard can stay healthy and have his best year, which would be 7/8, that would be huge.

Ray Allen seems like a consumate professional and should be a guy who desrves to wear the Celtic jersey. Same for KG.
I am finally getting excited ….I know little about Posey, but I assume the guy can play….
Po(we) over Po(llard) and Scali any day if we are talking about the 4 spot of the bench. Po(we) can out rebound both of those guys.
This should be exciting – NBA League pass gets for another year
I see in one of the articles above that Vin Baker still fighting the demons …the bottle is drinking from him and not the other way around. Well at least he fights the demons with lots of money …more than most people get.

Haha, so according to Gilbert Arenas, the Celtics weren’t a playoff team after the KG trade. It was the Posey signing that put them over the top.

The Bill Russell/Red Auerbach says so much in few words. It’s what it’s all about. I hope Russ talks to the team this year. He has so much insight into the game of life.
