Tickets On Sale Sept 21

From the Celtics PR dept.

BOSTON – The Boston Celtics announced today that individual game tickets for each Celtics home game will go on sale Friday, September 21 at 12:00 p.m at the TD Banknorth Garden Box Office.  Fans will also be able to purchase tickets by visiting Celtics.com or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX beginning at 1:00 p.m. that day.  In order to ensure availability of individual game tickets, season ticket sales on loge and balcony levels have been capped, marking the first time this has occurred since the opening of the TD Banknorth Garden in 1995.

"It’s been an exciting summer for our team and we are grateful for the support our fans have shown in responding so enthusiastically," Celtics President Rich Gotham said.

While loge and balcony Season Tickets are sold out, fans still have other ticketing options beyond individual game tickets. Currently, a limited amount of Premium Club Seats and Suites are available, giving companies and fans a prime view of the court along with exclusive amenities and business entertainment opportunities. Fans and companies interested in Premium Seating options may call 617-854-8018 for pricing and availability.

In addition, a limited amount of Group Tickets for 20 or more people are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling 866-4CELTIX.

For the on sale date of Friday, September 21 a four (4) ticket limit per person will be in effect for all Celtics home games.  Additionally, there will be a two (2) ticket limit on $10 seats for all games during the first month of sales.

Certified checks, money orders, cash and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover) are acceptable forms of payment for tickets sold at the TD Banknorth Garden Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Ticket prices for Celtics home games range start at just $10 in the Rite-Aid Pharmacy Family Section.

Regular TD Banknorth Garden Box Office hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday.  Tickets can also be purchased at any time on the Celtics website at Celtics.com or over the phone at 1-800-4NBA-TIX.

Edgar, just go to the box office at the Garden they day of the game. Might be sold out, so you might want to get tickets ahead of time.

So the season tickets have sold out? Wow. Glad I got in a few years ago.

Seeing that nothing like this has happened since the inception of the FleetCenter, how quickly to you think all of the tickets will get gobbled up?
