I was wondering why it took so long to sign Big Baby. Now we know. Sometimes things work out for the best because if he had signed sooner we may not have gotten Posey. I also don’t understand Bulpett’s concern about conditioning with Big Baby. If I remember correctly Big Baby addressed that himself after he was drafted. Also, this is something the C’s are very good at and because of the way BB and his agent approached signing it would indicate that BB knows he needs to stay in shape.
