Rondo Likely To Play Monday
Rajon Rondo practiced today and plans to try to play tomorrow afternoon in New York.
Rondo has missed the last two games and three of the last four with back and hamstring soreness.
He wasn’t necessarily playing at his full speed today, but he ran with the first team. Doc Rivers said he will make a decision prior to tipoff against the Knicks.
In other point guard news, the Clippers coach Mike Dunlevy is showing some dry humor in response to questions about Sam Cassell's availability:
"I don't know who we'd take from Boston," Dunleavy joked. "But if they offered Kevin Garnett, I'd probably take it. Ray Allen or Paul Pierce, maybe I'd have to consider."

If he is game time decision, it is not necessary. Give him enough rest and rehab to be 100%.
This is the time to see if Pruitt will improve with playing time.

There’s absolutely no way he should play. Why rush him back at all???? Just let him take another week off. Hamstrings and backs can both be lingering injuries and he has both. Doc would be an idiot to let him play. I gues that means he’ll be starting tomorrow.

If he is not playing at full speed, don’t rush him back.
Especially against the Knicks.

I’d like it if he took a full week off. Not sure why he’s back at practice so quickly. He had trouble shaking that hamstring injury already, just give it time. No need to rush.
Then again maybe his health is correct and he’s recovered. It’ll likely be easy to tell in his first game or two back.

You’ll take a second round pick and be happy with it.
