Darius Miles saying all the right things
The Celtics are lucky to have Darius Miles on the team. He is a dominate player, who is very good. Many teams wanted him and we lukcily have him. I think the Celtics again will be contenders to win the Championship and raise that 18th banner. I think Miles is saying all the right stuff because of Garnett and Allen. I bet he saw how happy they were and how successful they were last year. And he probably had a talk with Garnett, who told him all that Russell taught him. As much as i liek the new Miles, i loved the old one too. He was a great player and will reign again on the Celtics
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Agree to disagree
I tend to agree with Bill Russell who is reluctant to throw the word great around. Miles had a lot of promise and put up better numbers than I remember. But even before the knee injury it was becoming apparent that the mini KG idea was not accurate. Meanwhile, I like Boston’s chances even if Miles does not make the team. I’m looking for a big year out of Tony Allen and I’m intrigued by Bill Walker. I do like Miles’ approach so far and it’s positive that KG and Pierce have good things to say about him.

I'm happy for you guys...
As a rare Blazer fan that still likes Miles, its good to see him getting a chance. I’ll be there to watch when he comes back to Portland, so don’t cut him!

Interesting Point About Miles
If his situation were exactly the same but he was trying out in Portland after “retiring in Boston”, I wonder how Celtics fans would react. There could be some serious venom working its way across the Internet.

Trust me most Blazer fans are not so happy for Miles.
There is a lot of talk about the Celts just trying to screw the Blazers cap space by playing Miles for the ten games needed to stop insurance from paying his salary. I personally don’t know how the cap rules are setup, so i’m not sure if Miles salary would count against the Blazers or if Paul Allen would just have to pay out of his pocket. But either way the Blazers will get a nice bill for Miles to play in Boston.

Why venom?
Why would anyone be mad about a player being given a shot to play? It is amazing how sports can bring out the jerk in a person.
