Antoine has been given a taunting technical for less. The Raps announcers are right.

furthermore

kg gets away with more bs than anyone in the league…taunting, cursing, behavior, travelling, fouling, the list goes on

anything is possible!!!!

God bless and good night!

It’s so true. Now that they’ve won the championship, it seems like he is getting away with even more. He’s just an intense dude and as long as he’s not physically hitting someone, I’m sure they will continue to let him do his thing.

Why

Oh why does someone have to bring Antoine in to this?
But its true, is there another player in the league that would get away with this?

by thecaptain34 on Nov 11, 2008 11:04 AM EST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Because he’s the only player in the NBA who I can remember getting Ted up for “staring” at someone… while standing several feet away from them, no less.

Perkins

Last season, I don’t remember the game or the opponent.

Reason?

I’m sure Calderon did something to get KG that fired up… maybe he talked a little smack, and KG returned the favor.

Jose

Anyways…about calderon….I cant stand this guy…does he have to lick his damn fingers after everything he does? obnoxious

does nash wiping his jersey with his hand bother you too?

all these guys have their quirks

God bless and good night!

by BrickJames on Nov 11, 2008 12:50 PM EST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Nope

No…Nashs thing doesnt bother me and most other player quirks dont bother me either…I remember Calderon doing this last year and it was the most annoying thing Ive ever seen…What, you like it?

Antoine.. who?

He probably went a bit overboard but, I was laughing my buttocks off.

Calderon 2-9 ouch must have been the Banners him and Pop have an issue with… Why Rondo didn’t blow by him every time is beyond me. He might be worse on defense then Kapono.

C's are #1

KG v PG's

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen KG messing with 1’s this year. He harrassed Rafer Alston and then walked away, only to see Alston get a tech in the Houston game. You have to figure Calderon did something to get KG’s attention. Kevin does talk smack all night to his man and in general, but it doesn’t seem to be directed towards guards…

The SportsCenter clip is better: http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?videoId=3695134&categoryId=2459788

Calde

Even though I am a Celtics fan, Calde was good here, with “dos cojones” not letting KG intimidate him. Brave!

by Markeras on Nov 11, 2008 3:39 PM EST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Did he? I think he played pretty soft after that interaction…..

by Green17 on Nov 11, 2008 5:22 PM EST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Well, KG woke the C’s up. KG seems to play better when his intensity is up.

by NoraG1 on Nov 11, 2008 3:43 PM EST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

mmmm…can’t resist joke making….

And the Celtics seem to win when they outscore their opponent.

Raps bench coach

If you watch the Sports Center clip, you’ll see Calderon walking away after a time out & KG heading towards his bench. One of the Raps coaches (not Mitchell) is watching and smiling, enjoying the show.

by LuckyNumber07 on Nov 11, 2008 5:41 PM EST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Definitely a taunting foul

The refs should have called that, and it still would have been worth it. That kind of thing will drive an opposing player crazy. I’m glad KG is in green.

Big brother no longer needs to watch, because the world is convinced he is.

Think KG knows ESPANOL????

Lol, I was watching the game and when Calderon responded while heading to his bench it looked like he said something in spanish. Could it be KG was using the little(to my knowledge) spanish he knows? I mean when people dont speak a language and ask their friends to learn, dont they teach u the dirty stuff? lol. I can imagine KG callin Calderon a little PUT@ or something. lol

Is KG "above the rules"?

Just a little more favoritism from the officials…
