Celtics Presidential ballot...
I want to apologize in advance if i break any politcal rules of this website...but I wanted to post a question to all Celtics fans worldwide about their ballots. Celtics fans come few and far between in Tennessee, this is why I ask so eagerly.
A friend of mine and I agreed on something on the presidential ballot(besides just our P/VP vote). Our theory goes like this....This is not the SATs. If you don't know the question, or the names on the ballot, don't guess. Even though a single vote doesn't make a ton of difference, it's the point that counts. If your guessed vote goes for someone like John Doe, and he wins, and he's awful...then you have no complaining power b/c you voted for him...kinda like if you don't vote at all, when you can say the same thing...SO...we agree it's better to write in a name, so your vote isn't wasted but doesn't go to the wrong person.
One or two people didn't like my picks, but the idea and reasoning made logical sense with having little time to learn last minute of who I should vote for ...so...besides the Presidential vote...my remaining 4 office seats were filled in with ...
Kevin Garnett
Ray Allen
Paul Pierce
Doc Rivers
How many Celtic fans...or whoever...did the same thing or something similar?
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
