The First Tough Week of the Schedule
Starting with the Pistons game on Sunday, the Celtics played four playoff teams from last season in a row, capped off with the Bucks on Saturday. Prior to tipoff this past Sunday night, these opponents were a combined 16 - 10, sporting a healthy 61.5% winning percentage.
The week was set up as a perfect early season test, 5 games in 7 days against mostly quality opponents (when Redd's healthy the Bucks will be "Eastern Conference Decent" I think).
And what have the Celtics done so far this week? Won 'em all. This test isn't over yet, but so far so good. Even though there is plenty to talk about in terms of early game sluggishness or Ray and Eddie's hot and cold shooting, the Champs look capable of taking on all challengers to their throne.
Looking ahead, next week will be equally as interesting as the run 'n gun Knicks come to town (I can't wait for Lil' Nate to get Rondo'd) followed by the Pistons and then a trip to visit our buddies Al and Ryan (specifically not including Bassy).
