Eddie Curry is next.
I can’t believe that Walsh was able to pull these deals off. It’s not that the Knicks got great players in return (I’m no Harrington fan), but it is certainly a feather in Walsh’s cap that he was able to trade away two of the biggest knuckleheads in the history of the NBA.

The Knicks have enough cap space to sign two max contract free agents in 2010. The entire landscape of the NBA may have just changed today.
If they find a way to jettison Curry+Jeffries they could sign three max contract free agents … Jeez.
