Rivers joked with the media about Kendrick Perkins trying to calm Leon Powe down because, "It’s ironic when Perk calms down anyone because clearly no one is getting to him." Rivers may have cracked a joked but the subject clearly isn’t a joking matter. Today Perkins picked up his eighth technical on the season and he’s close to getting disciplined by the league.

Tough line to draw with Perk.

He’s old school. He might be worse than McHale, Bird, and Parish when it comes to game face and getting on the hate for an opponent.

I like it.

But we don’t need a suspension.

One game? Look I don’t want him to get 40 this year but if he gets 14 and misses one game i can live with that. So he needs to slow it down a little. Id hate for him to back off much

Im one of the opinon that the beast getting tech’s isnt all that bad!

I dont believe the team has been showing the hunger that carryed them so well last year, if we need someone to go over the top to get everyone into a common mindset then id rather take that instead of telling our enforcer due down low to back off, with propper technical management you can easily take that suppension against a team with no chance of winning, with or without Perk.

But thats one of the not too talked about effects of loosing Poss, i will bet my right arm that the headline would have featured Poss’ instead of Perkings if he were still here.
Anyone who has seen every game so far, that has a grasp on if anyone has picked up that job of being the mental ballance to the mentally unballenced (eg. The Ticket)

Is Macho Man Perk trying to send any kind of messages to the refs? Obviously he is not getting his message across to them cause they are making him pay for it. He hasnt found out he is not going to get away with his macho stuff? Mayve the team should fine him for any Tech he gets from now one. Only the coach should be allowed to take a tech when he may need it to wake the team up, but what good is it for the team for Perk to keep piling techs? His missing a screw in his head; he should go to a psychiatrist.
