I love Perk!!

Perk is a beast! He is really maturing and becoming a force on this team. I have been telling people from his first year that he was going to break out and become a very, very good center! Love seeing all those blocks… a thing of beauty!

Perk and Powe... the Next Big Thing

what made this game fun to watch was the many players who excelled. and the defense which was not there in the beginning, but when it got there, wow.

Pierce didn’t wake up until about 9 minutes into the game. After that they were ok.

18, 10 and 7 assists can certainly be described as “waking up”.
Also, the C’s held Milwaukee to 39.7 % shooting and forced 22 turnovers. The Bucks had only 8 steals.

The Perk Block Show must be one of the better performances in league history. Does anyone know how many minutes Elmore Smith played when he had 17?

You don’t have to touch the ball to be called for an offensive foul.

Aside from that, you must have noticed by now that everyone on our team touches the ball. It’s call ‘ball movement’. Doc sometimes calls it ‘Celtics basketball’, too ;)

Go Cletics!!!

They did good today! I think they should play walker and pruitt a little more@@
What do u guys think?

Pruitt and Walker

both seemed kind of anxious when they got out there. Running plays a little too fast, missing rotations, etc. But I bet Doc will find them some PT for sure starting in mid-December or so.

Funny thing is that when they come into the game the drop off in execution and talent is just sooo evident from player 9 to players 10,11, and 12 at this point that it’s like another team is suddenly on the floor once Doc clears the bench. I know Tommy couldn’t stop singing the praises of the bench and goes a bit overboard sometimes but as I was trying to allude to in a fanpost, this team is so balanced, so seamless, so chemically together from players one through nine that it is scary. The bench players are coming in and there is no drop off in the quality of play or defensive intensity.

Hence we will see a ton of nights where the leading scorer will have 18 points, where there will be 3-4 guys with 7 or more rebounds, where we will be astounded because there are 29 assists on 34 baskets and that every player in the top 9 has at least 1 assist and most have 3 or more. Last night was a thing of beauty at times.

Rondo 8 assists in a half.
Perk 7 blocks for the game
Garnett 16-9 and 2 blocks
Pierce 18-10-7
The Allens with 4 assists each
Great defense from the 2 quarter on and really in the first quarter it was most Pierce’s reluctance to guard Jefferson that sparked the Bucks. If he played better defense to start this score might have been pretty ridiculous a lot earlier.

The bench was outstanding tonight.

What they lack in individual talent they make up for with good teamwork.

They are gellin’ like Ferdinand Magellan.

they've got game

They’ve all got talent, well, Scal has energy. Seasoning is what they need the bench will get better. Tony isn’t doing that badly. We shall see by January where the bench stands.
