I thought I was linking to a cool youtube video? one that is relevant because I hate kobe bryant?
Reporter: About a year ago I asked about the Celtics-Lakers thing and you said you'd really only seen it on TV. Now you've been through it, can you talk about playing the Boston Celtics for the NBA championship?
Kobe: It Sucks.

Which is funny, since I thought this was a pro-Kobe video.

One thing I don't get...
This is a pro-Kobe piece, evidenced by the youtube user’s comments about his mix and the video itself…. so why is it “… the Coward Kobe Bryant”?

Apparently it’s a movie reference to “The Assassination of the Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford”.

I thought it was an anti-kobe piece. Whatever, art is in the eye of the beholder.

It is a reference
to The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Robert Ford was a wanna-be outlaw who joined James’ gang hoping to be like — and ultimately bigger than — James himself. The title spoils the ending already, so it does no harm in mentioning that Ford shoots James in the back while unarmed to murder him.
The title refers to Bryant wanting to be like and maybe even better than MJ, but the creator obviously thinks never will be. Just an immitator, like Ford. Maybe hinting that Kobe could never beat MJ face to face in a fair battle and knows it. I don’t entirely agree with the opinion, but think its incredibly clever and well done.
