At a time when families are being increasingly cautious with their entertainment dollar as a result of the recent economic downturn, demand for tickets to the Lakers-Celtics Christmas Day showdown is still as strong as ever. The average resale price on StubHub, an online marketplace for buyers and sellers of tickets, for a ticket to the game is about $334 -- highest of any regular-season game this year and more than twice the $148 average last year's Lakers-Suns Christmas game fetched.

The lakers will be crowned champions in december if they somehow win this game, and on top of that it will ruin my christmas.
