Eric Mangini= The "great" equalizer
I know this sounds like nothing but a conspiracy theory but.... do you think that knowing the Baltimore game was out of hand....and they had no chance to make the playoffs....that Eric Mangini told Favre to throw that pick to keep Belichick out of the playoffs so that their seasons had "equal results?" That may have been the worst throw of Brett Favre's career but MAY have not been his call. Get back to me.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I don't think so...
I don’t think Favre would intentionally throw an interception, regardless of what his coach told him to do. He’s not some rookie scrub who needs to kiss up to his coach for playing time (even if a coach would do something so unethical); Favre is a Hall of Fame quarterback who has nothing to gain by intentionally tanking a game.

Nah
I hate mangini and the jets as much as anyone, but favre wouldnt purposely do that on his possible last game, he was just flat out terrible because he’s done, i mean that was one of the worse QB performances Ive ever seen and all anyone wants to do is glorify his career

Oh and its a total bummer
That this 11-5 Patriots team who has won 4 in a row does not get in the playoffs….would’ve been interesting to see what Cassel could’ve done..now we’ll probably never see him in Patriots gear again, which sucks cause I was really starting to like him

all part of the plan
Mangini was just a plant by Belichek. They have been faking a feud all along to throw off the scent. He will show up again as a Patriots assistant and eventual replacement to Bill. As will Crenell (who was sent to the Browns to stick it to Bill’s old team).
Of course Charlie Weis was never included in the plans and will take the fall for Spygate when all is said and done.
