CSL: Postgame Tonight W/ Scott Souza

Joining us for a Postgame edition of Celtics Stuff Live on Comcast SportsNet immediately following the conclusion of the game against the Pacers (6pm Start) is Scott Souza from the MetroWest Daily News.  Scott has been a valued guest of CSL since the early days of the show.  His sharp wit and superior prose always impresses, such as this line from last weekend's Atlantic Division foes no match for Celtics:

So far, the division title race has been about as compelling as a made-for-TV movie on the Hallmark Channel. Just when you think something unpredictable might happen, you get a development right out of last year's recycled script.

He also writes for the new OT Boston Sports Blog and has a great article posted Saturday on Leon Powe entitled Stuck In The Middle.  Here's an excerpt:

Rivers has become a believer. After playing Powe sparingly in his first season-plus in Boston, the coach went to the crowd favorite extensively in the second half of last year and the playoffs. With P.J. Brown’s retirement — for now, anyway — Powe has earned the backup center minutes over 7-footer Patrick O’Bryant.

"I look at it as a lot of the same position," he said. "Four and five, sometimes they’re much bigger [at center], sometimes they are a little quicker [at forward], but it’s the way you guard people. You have to be extra smart out there when you are a guy like me."

Join us Sunday night and if you have a question for Scott or the show, you can send us an e-mail or call our toll free number (1-866-751-9649) and leave us a voicemail.
