So You're Saying He's Got A Chance
I'll let Brett Edwards say it:
Regardless of what happened initially, there's still a chance that Ray Allen could wind up wearing an East jersey in New Orleans. The WIzards' Caron Butler has been dealing with a strained hip flexor, and if he's unable to go, Allen would seem like a fairly logical choice to replace him. If David Stern does go with Allen though, it would really only be to placate the Celtics and reward them for having the league's best record. Because honestly, Hedo Turkoglu and Josh Smith are much more deserving of an All-Star trip this year than Ray Allen.

As much as I like Ray, him making the All-Star team would be a tribute to our team success and not to his individual brilliance. Hedo hirs just as many big shots, and this is “his year” if you know what I mean. I actually want to him to make it.

Sit Ray! Even if they call for you don’t do it. Your ankles and the championship are much more important that spot minutes in a game where you know you weren’t even selected. It’s not much of an honor if you weren’t really chosen. It will be a huge honor though when you hit huge shots in the finals for us because your ankles are rested!
With KG not in it, Stern was like, ‘how can I stick it to the Celtics and Rasheed Wallaces vacation plans at the same time?’
You know ray isn’t gonna make it, its gonna be hedo or something like that, or he’s gonna count lebron twice.
Stern puts Eddy Curry in before he puts in Ray Allen.
